X-Image Analysis Toolkit Interfaces


X-Image Analysis Toolkit uses three types of user-interfaces:

1) Each function can be typed at the Unix-shell prompt allowing users to create shell processing files,

Example :
XDISPLAY -I BOULDER -O NEW.IMAGE

2) or the functions can be executed from an Window-driven menu interface. These menu's are OpenWindows widgets.

EXAMPLE OF CLUSTER FUNCTIONS

3) or the functions can be specified in a X-Image Analysis Toolkit command-line format

Example:

X-Analysis Windowing System -- version 3.0 (12/01/95)
Copyright (c) 1991,1992,1993,1994,1995 Earth Vision Software, Inc.
COMMAND = BOULDER > XDISPLAY

The user can also read and write X-Image Analysis Toolkit images directly from their own programs by using an X-Image Analysis Toolkit programming library.
