X-Image Analysis Toolkit uses three types of user-interfaces:
1) Each function can be typed at the Unix-shell prompt allowing users to create shell processing files,
2) or the functions can be executed from an Window-driven menu interface. These menu's are OpenWindows widgets.
3) or the functions can be specified in a X-Image Analysis Toolkit command-line format
The user can also read and write X-Image Analysis Toolkit images directly from their own programs by using an X-Image Analysis Toolkit programming library.
